We are happy to welcome new intern Alena Plascencia to our program. She will be assisting the Executive Director and learning how to operate a meals on wheels program. We appreciate the opportunity to help her gain knowledge in what it takes to provide meals to our clients.

We were so pleased that the students and teachers from the Whittier Union High School District Transition Program were able to come back and help deliver meals to our clients. Every year the NCL helps MOW during the summer months. During the year they have made personalized cards, 4th of July wreaths and Christmas wreaths. We love having the girls and their moms help cover routes as well as helping to pack the meals before going out to our clients.
