The annual Volunteer Appreciation luncheon was held at our Hillcrest offices.  We provided a delicious Lascari’s lunch and  our volunteers were able to shop at “Gary’s General Store” through the La Habra Collaborative.  The Collaborative provides many great services to the community.

La Habra MOW was happy to join other non-profits as well as city officials and the LHPD for this fun, well attended event.

Today we had a meet and greet with five case workers from MOWOC.  They helped us pack and send out our food.  Our new case worker for La Habra is Robert Romero.  They are a great group and we enjoyed the visit.

Phil Merchant has resided for more than 30 years in La Habra, and has volunteered for 28 of those years by delivering meals every Friday for La Habra Meals on Wheels!  He is moving out of state and going back to Ohio.  He will be greatly missed. Phil and his late wife Patty have contributed…

NCL is back helping La Habra MOW during the summer months. It is so nice to have such passionate and excited girls and moms helping us through the summer. They all say they get so much out of delivering meals to our clients.
