La Habra Meals on Wheels has the best volunteers.  We would not be able to have such a successful organization without their dedication.  We deliver Monday through Friday and have six routes per day.  Some of our volunteers deliver a few times a week, some once a week, some every other week and we also have substitutes who come in as needed.

We celebrated with a “Day of the Dead” theme.  We had a wonderful Mexican lunch catered by Casa Adelita.  We had great raffle items and goody bags for everyone.  Many thanks to the La Habra Collaborative and CR&R Inc. who helped to sponsor our event.

We honored Shilpa Hardas with a Certificate of Recognition from the city of La Habra presented by board member and Mayor James Gomez. Shilpa has been donating every year to help cover our cost of subsidized meals. We are so grateful for her help.
